Measured Building Surveys are the first step for many projects and good quality, accurate plans are the forerunner to efficient design and development.
With extensive experience of undertaking Measured Building Surveys and a background in Land Surveying, Smith Patrick is well placed to deliver plans with the level of detail and accuracy that you require. We are constantly adopting new technology and enhancing our survey methodologies to ensure that our clients receive the best surveys possible.
Our previous projects have included retail layout surveys,capturing everything from the structure to racking positions, plug sockets and all elements in between. We can also prepare Land Registry plans showing legal boundaries and the extent of freehold or leasehold ownership. We also provide sections and elevations for planning applications, alterations and refurbishments.
All our plans are drawn onsite utilising the latest equipment, minimising delays and possible mistakes. Not only does this method increase the accuracy of drawings produced but also reduces the amount of time required to deliver completed drawings for their intended use.

All instruments and methodologies noted can be used to produce 3d plans which we can then render, to provide fully scaleable models for design or visualisation.
Topographical Surveys
Using total stations, we are able to produce accurate topographical surveys. The complexity of plans produced can vary from basic boundary and level surveys to fully detailed surveys picking up all above ground features. Plans can be delivered in a variety of formats to suit the use for which they are intended.
Multiple Sites and Survey Standards
We have worked with clients through a variety of industries and are used to working to individual organisations' survey and recording standards.
We also have extensive in house CAD knowledge and can help you to develop standards in a variety of software packages and platforms.
